    I'm currently running the official AT&T 7.1 release (794) and am thinking of updating to the latest release (1098). I asked in the thread if anyone is successfully running it with ATT but didn't get any replies (probably not much traffic here these days, so a proper thread is probably better suited).

    So anyway, are the mic issues sorted out with later OS versions or am I pretty much stuck with this old ATT release?

    I haven't see a mic issue in over a year or more with my AT&T 9900. I installed the .1098 os release and never had a problem with it so I recommend checking it out.

    The mic issue was only one OS I believe. Resolved in all following issues. Both the family 9900s work fine on later leaks. AT&T is our carrier and always has been.

    I have AT&T and the latest release I show is 7.1.0.862 ( I just checked for updates) and do not see any additional

    The "sticky" at the top of this forum shows the latest OS for the 9900. Currently from 02 UK. Install that one, 862 is ancient now!
