WHEN will AT&T EVER going to get with the program and bring out the 9900????? I am so sick of waiting. If they dont soon, I will jump ship to Sprint or Verizon to get it. AT&T isnt listening to its coustomers. If they keep it up, they wont have many left.

I hate AT&T. Made the switch a few years ago. The 9900 will become cavemen style before they release it

    1. maybe to prevent backorder.

    3. they know a lot of people will still stay.
    4. Longer people wait to upgrade, the longer they keep you on contract.

Att has a reason for not releasing the 9900 and this forum will not change their mind. Its stinks for Att customers but its not the only device that didn't launch on every carrier.

While their service is rated far better than ATT, US Cellular is rumored to not be bringing out the 9900 due to its high cost.

Right now USCC has the Touch Torch, the 9650 and the Curve 3G.

For the first time in the 6 years I have had my families 4 phones with them I am thinking of switching to a carrier that carries newer and better phones.
It won't be ATT though. No way in he11!

To not carry the 9900 to replace the 9650 is not a wise move. But than USCC has been making a bunch of bad moves the past two years.

Last guestimate for 9900 at at&t was November, after the iPhone 5 release. Coincidence? I think not.

It's Jef's fault I posted. It's also Jef's fault you read it. And it's Jef's fault AT&T hasn't released the 9900 so you can have VVM working.

my hunch is that at&t will launch the iphone 5/iphone 4s at october 13/14 side by side by launching the blackberry torch 9860 at the same time or 1 or 2 days after iphone launch.the bold i think they will launch around lets say october 20/21.thats how i see this panning out.october will be the month of devices for at&t.we already found out the samsung galaxy s is launching october 2 before new iphone(s) introduction.remember this is just a hunch but i could be wrong with the hypothetical predictions.crucial/phonegeek had mentioned that october was going to be the month for at&t but we haven't heard anything from them lately.maybe they are just keeping it quiet since they know its going to be october.

I dunno ... he may have said that, but I'm pretty sure I saw November somewhere, right around the same time I remember getting a tad miffed at the first rumor of the iP5 coming in October.

I still may break down and pay full price for it whenever the #+// it comes out, then sell whichever one I don't want on eBay.

Att is selling the 9810 now.. and soon they will sell the 9900 also.. you can always get it from other carrier (Sprint / Bell / Rogers) and unlock it then use it woth your AT&t sim card.
    Or just switch a carrier

I would not recommend getting a 9930 from VZW or Sprint and unlocking it for AT&T. The 9930 will only be capable of EDGE (2G) on AT&T. 3G on the 9930 on GSM is only supported overseas. Bell, Rogers, and Telus branded 9900s will support 3G on AT&T if unlocked.
