I am going back to a 9900. Anyone know how to transfer all of my info back to the 9900? I have tons of memos and contacts. I'm sure I can transfer the contacts via "at&t phone book", but I have a lot of info in my memos app that I need to transfer as well.

However camera is not as good as q10 but not too bad! If I need camera I would go a canon!!!!! But yes no auto focus is disappointing!as a phone camera is not so bad.

True. It was good enough for the most part. When I needed to take pics of my receipts to send back to my company that's when I needed a better one, but yes...I can get a regular camera for that...or have my wife take the picture with her S4 and Send it to me. It's not an every day thing. I can live with it for now...but I will be going back to the Q10 someday....no rush though.

Running a Z10 alongside my main 9900 as a backup. Have thought about selling it more than once but wouldn't get a decent price on it.

I've been thinking of doing the same. Currenty using a Q10 and Z10 but having issues with the Z turning off at 30-50%. Q10 works perfectly though!

Solution is this : turn your device off ,pull battery out for at least 2 hours ,press and hold power button for 10 seconds ,then put those back, now your cook is ready!

I'd get the Q10 in a heartbeat, IF it had a trackpad.

I haven't tried that way. I've left the battery out for and hour and then put it back in and then I'd charge it until full. I'll give your advice a go! Thanks!

Sorry for jumping in OP. My main reason for going back to 9900 is the trackpad.

I have a 9900 and thought about selling it.. not worth enough to sell.. and every time that I fire it up, I miss it.. I will hang on to it.. I like it better than my Q10.... My main phone is a Z30

I am liking the Z10 more now since 10.2.1.x has come out but will never give up my 9900. I actually have a separate number and plan for each on different carriers which also have their own strengths and weaknesses lol. Add a PlayBook into the mix to partner with my 9900 and I am in phone/tablet heaven right now.

I went back to a Bold 9900 from a Q10 last night. I found a good deal off Kijiji for a 9900 in great condition for only $100 box and everything. I feel right at home. I missed the speed dial and one key quiet mode (Q). When I logged in with my Blackberry ID, it restored my Gmail Emails, Contacts, and Calendars automatically.

I tried living with the same thought like yours there, but the truth is the Bold 9900's camera is getting long in the tooth time after time:
    • Tried to capture close-up images like receipts, small words (those specs on circuit boards or on electronic devices), etc. the results are often very-very blur and can't be read.
    • Tried to capture candid moments when my nieces make funny faces or do something funny, the camera took forever to snap an image. The same thing goes for taking pictures or selfies with families, we all thought the Bold 9900 was frozen/hang.

I'd love to smack the back of the head of the BlackBerry engineers who put such lousy camera in the company's flagship phone, perhaps it wasn't the engineers call to put it there maybe it was the BlackBerry execs' decision back then. *sigh*

I found the 9900's camera to be a bit quicker than the Z10. Agreed, the resolution could be a bit better tho.

It's not the resolution that is the problem. It's that it does not have autofocus. This is why you cannot take those sharp dramatic close up photos with a Bold 9900. I agree, the 9900 camera is faster, and it's because it does not need to focus.

I have a Q10 and it's great. But last month I almost get myself a Bold. Why?

The Trackpad, the Back BUTTON, the end call BUTTON, the accept call/last calls BUTTON and the Blackberry BUTTON!

Buttons! Thats it! Like a businessman who relies that things work! Period. The touch hype sometimes makes cringe. It feels strange ending a call on glass. Sometimes I must press longer or three times, to be sure the call is really ended.

Imagine having a client on the line. Just when you think you have ended the call, you start saying "stupid client" while having lunch with your working mates. This would never happen with a Bold. You push and thats it!

Funny how you miss those simple functions. I may think about a Bold and selling the Q10.

Bolds are cheap now. Why not keep both and switch between the 2 devices every week and get best of both worlds? I did that for couple of months but ended up selling the Q10 because it wasn't as good as an Android or a Bold. Now i'm switching between my Android and Bold every other week.

The Z10's camera take is slower than the Bold 9900's? That's worse than I thought..

Camera take should be fast, it's unnegotiable. Have you tried the iPhone 5s' or Galaxy S4's? Now that's how a camera in smartphone should work.
