I have been using my bold now for about a week and I'm puzzled. I came from a storm2 and loved it. I love things about my bold a lot. Here is my issue, I have seen more hourglasses in a week with my bold than I ever did with my s2. I have done battery pulls and all the standard stuff but I find my phone is very laggy. Do I have a lemon and should I exchange it? Thanks in advance for any help you all give.

what all are you running? mine is lightening fast (have about 10-15 apps installed...none run in the background)..i only get the hourglass when im installing/uninstalling apps...sounds like a lemon to me.

Your device is a lemon. Make sure its not searching for service between gsm and cdma that should help

I just got the storm 2 had the same issue so I reloaded the Os and problem solved. I went thru rim tech support they are the ones who suggested it.
