My 9700 is showing that I have an unread email, yet all have been opened on my phone. It is a gmail account and all emails in my inbox have been read. I tried a battery pull, selecting all emails and then mark unopened and then mark opened. Nothing seems to work. I can't figure out where the email would be sitting or how to clear the notification. Any ideas?

Sounds like the messages boxes are separate. Go into the "Messages" folder and read the unread notification.

if there all read, delete everything in the inbox. if the icon remains, battery pull
