    so i got a free blackberry bold 9650 for sprint, its already unlocked. How do i activate it to verizons network>? when my friend put his at&t sim card in it, it connected to at&ts network, if i get a working verizon sim car and put in the sprint bold, will it connect to verizons network?

    No. Verizon will not activate phones not in their database.

    Verizon is a CDMA network, and doesn't use a SIM card on that network. Sprint and Verizon will not activate devices from each others' networks. Your friend was using the GSM feature of the 9650 on AT&T. It has radios for that side of the aisle.
