specific application settings

I'm not sure if I phrased the title correctly but I'm looking to set up special lock settings for applications. Specifically, can I make it so that if I'm playing flycast or pandora my phone doesn't lock. Whenever it locks it seems to stop playback which is a pain while driving and what not. Thanks in advance for any ideas

If by lock you mean Password Protection when the timer expires, then you are out of luck. There's no setting that will allow you to inhibit the password timer, for obvious security reasons. All you can do is push a button on the keyboard before the timer expires. That resets the timer. It's a pain for GPS use as well.
