Doesn't anyone know the sound frequency range of the device?
It plays a 10k tone just fine.
I tried playing a 12k tone without success.
I realize there isn't a lot of demand for the higher tones.
Just curious.

Maybe it is playing but you don't hear it... Post it here, I will test it in my 9900.

Thanks. Its play on my laptop
but didn't play on the Blackberry.
I suspect that wehen it got converted to an mp3 file the quality
wasn't adequate. I'm going to try the origianl wav file.
I'd still be interested in the specture the device has.

Nope. The file play on the computer but not the phone.

Since you indicated that it should play the tone I kept at it.
Bingo. I was able to hear the 10k tone using good earbuds.
You can just barely hear it using the regular speakers.
but only with the volume on max and holding it close to your ear.
(Which sport of defeats the purpose.)
