    Hi,
    I got a 2nd hand Bold 9900 from a friend who got it from his last company where he worked.
    It was a company issued BB.
    Can I, if I can, how do I change it into a personal Blackberry? How to disable the activation password which it is asking to enable to setup the email?

    Just make a new blackberry ID on pc.

    You have to use the BlackBerry Desktop software and choose the reset to factory option. It will security wipe the phone and remove any company IT policies.
