Unless you have an older Mac, the chances of getting Desktop Manager for Mac working are pretty slim, especially if you're on Catalina - System requirements for BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac OS X. You're better off finding a friend that has a Windows-based computer or installing Windows on your Mac through Bootcamp if you predict you may be using it a lot.

Just a quick shout out of respect to anyone still carrying a 9700. I loved mine, including the 2.4 inch non-touch, unbreakable LED screen.
If someone made me replace my Z10 and KEYone with a 9700 tomorrow, I don't think it would slow me down at all.
Z10 = BB10 + VKB > iOS + Android
