I had an issue where my camera nor video camera would allow the take/record button to highlight/be used.

I connected up to BB Desktop, went to "Delete data", and deleted the "camera" and "video recorder" options.

Hope this helps someone else.

lol . i havent seen anyone that made such a mistake. i dont even think delete option appears for OS core apps..
anyway, just get the CODs and install it.(but thats if you know the right COD)
if you cant, just re-install a fresh full official OS.
all should be fine.

my camera didn't work either. had to pull the battery and remove and reinstall SIM card to get it to work
