Josh, I don't think there is anything new to show. Too me it all looks the same. Yours works better than mine too!

OS 5.0 has ALOT of enhancements over 4.x. Most are not active yet or wont work without Argon, but it is, in many areas significantly improved.

Ok well thanks anyway, maybe it is just behind the scenes upgrades, I have no clue...hopefully we will find out soon enough.

You probably won't get all the features of the 5.0 until the whole 5.0 releases. But until then, you can still say you have 5.0

I just bought an unbranded/unlocked Bold. Software version is 4.6.0.247 vendor id is 179. Everytime i use DM to add an application i get a fatal error and then a white screen of death. I have been able to re-install the OS successfully but I have also tried downgrading to see if the fatal error stops. Any ideas why i always get this fatal error when using DM? Can it be fixed?

Take the back off, take the battery out, and I think it's the IMEI if it starts with 00 it's a test device.

The IMEI doesnt start with 00. Is there another reason why everytime I try to use DM to either install apps or downgrade my OS I get a fatal error. After the fatal error the BB has said error 205,507, and 523. I have been able to get the OS back on it but I cant understand why the fatal error happens every time!!!

dont use DM then, trying using loader.exe to upgrade the unit or something first!
