so i have this blackberry bold 9900 and the other night i went to bed and i plugged it in to charge which it did but sometime through the night my blackberry crashed and all that lights up is the lfash dot and it flashes red, i took it to my service provider and the service technician tried to wipe the software and failed is it a done deal and this gentlemen in winnipeg offered me 40 dollars for parts its in mint shape, but the software crashed / plz help ???

Are you able to get another device? If so, try installing 1 app at a time. That may be the reason why (app causing the crash).

You can definitely get more $ for the phone as parts, I can even offer you more.

But this problem is common with this type of phone, it seems that it is happening to a lot of people (myself included) with no solution.
