Dear all,
Got the Bold 9900 today. It's awesome one ;)
But I want to have the preview (read, forward, reply ...) of my SMS when the phone's locked. So is there any kinds of app, option, setting can do that?
Pls. let me know
Kind regards

both crunch sms and bebuzz have pop up options although im not sure if they work over the lock screen
Tks il67bp,
I knew it b4. But I wanna emphasize that it'll popup on locked screen.
Regards
I just tested it out for you. Doesn't seem that either of them will show until AFTER you have unlocked the phone.

I wanna see the sms EVEN on my locked screen ;)
Regards
And as of yet i dont think theres an app that will do that ie give you a preview on your locked screen.
I personally use berrypopup which works well but doesnt allow u to see the preview until you unlock the phone.
My app 'Leave It On' can show it when the device is locked. BUT 2 things to consider with it 1) It will not work with password lock. 2) after the pop-up is displayed it takes your device out of the lock state.
Yep i hate LIO myself and it doesnt work when the phone is locked with a password.
Tks for your all sharing ;)
I wonder with password locked screen we still can "Place call". So why dont any apps can do "SMS preview" :(
Once again, tks for your sharing
this isnt good for those hiding something lol lol
Hold on.
While the phone is locked.. You want to be able to text..?
I think you are missing the point of locking the phone. .
....I'm using LockPlus (which, BTW, is a really cool little app) and my received BerryPopUp emails and texts do, er, pop up when the phone's locked - hope that helps :)
NamThang - How did you get the Bold 9900 if your carrier is AT&T? Did you change carriers??
There is a feature that if you get a notification with BeBuzz you can show it in lock screen. The toast settings can be personalized to work with a bubble popup as well.
Leave It On is also another good one.
Both these will unlock your phone whenever you get a notification
You are right in a way but it is nice to have a text pop up and not the whole conversation. Plus you can reply without an unlock and once replied nothing can be read
