Im pretty sure you will need to manually load some UMA files needed from another Orange. Vodaphone has UMA Blocked and those settings remain even after a carrier switch.

I might be wrong, but ive seen it happen with like takinga bell 9700 and trying to get UMA on Rogers.

do you have an orange official OS installed?

UMA is only available under licence to one network provider per country (Rogers Canada, T-Mobile USA, Orange UK etc.)

The wifi preference options are only available on handsets from those carriers. You won't get those on any other phone, unlocked or not.

So, in short... you cannot get UMA on O2 or using a Vodafone device

Yeah... unless you fancy changing over to Orange, hacking the engineering screen, enabling the feature and installing their UMA files

I have a unlocked phone on Orange contract and was unable to connect to UMA service via Orange LiveBox, I followed a thread on here about UMA settings for Orange and have been ok with UMA since and still ok since upgrade to OS6.
