Randomly my phone will just lose service and say that my sim is not allowed. I just restart it and it works but its annoying. Anyone know anything about this?

nope. But if i were you id update my phones firmware and if your sim card is old, get a new one if available.

if that doesnt work, use your warranty if you have one.

If you don't remember how old it is, you probably need a new one.

Walk into an AT&T Corporate store and they should be more than happy to just swap it out for you.

They did for me for that same exact reason! No charge, if you call, they charge to ship it $10. I've had the problem once since then. Its been 2 months! Good luck!

My old phone used to do this... I thought it was because my sim card was pretty old and worn out. It turned out that the "contacts" that the sim touches were dirty and worn out and so wouldn't maintain proper contact.

Maybe see if that could be the problem. Or ask for a newer sim card.
