So my Bold was randomly rebooting and slowing down until I found out it works normally when I remove the SIM card but as soon as I put it back in it freezes once it boots and then it randomly reboots and shuts down. Any ideas?

Change the SIM card and test again. If it keeps happening, then hardware issue is likely.

Replace the device. Or try another os on the device.

Reload the OS using the /nojvm option and then, only restore Address book, BBM, Memopad, Bookmarks, etc. Skip everything else. It should work then. Also, what version of 7.1.0.xxx are you using?
