How is the signal strength and call quality on this Bold. Also, how is the ear piece volume, when on a call, is it loud?

    Good questions! Bump.

I just ended my two day trial with the Droid Incredible 2 due to outrageously bad signal/reception and went back to the 9650. Where the 9650 had two bars, the Incredible has NONE!...no signal at all. Even in my house, the 9650 has all five bars... the incredible would have one or two bars. I never knew that there could be such a difference.

So yes, I'm wondering about the signal/reception and sound quality of the new 9900 series.

I use bluetooth 99% of the time with my VzW 9930. The signal strength is leaps and bounds above the 9650. The call quality and volume is fantastic. I drive a big ol diesel truck and I can hear and be heard perfectly. This has much to do with the bluetooth headsets I use. One is a Blue Parrot VXi Corp :: B250-XT :: When excessive background noise is an issue, the BlueParrott B250-XT is the answer. A professional grade, wireless noise-canceling headset for Bluetooth cellular phones and Bluetooth-enabled computers.
There is not one bluetooth device on the market that exceeds this device. No one can ever tell I am in a 500 horsepower Peterbilt truck. I have to hit the airhorn to prove it.
Back to the 9930 -- its an awesome phone. P-H-O-N-E ... I love it
