    Hey guys, I need help. A few days ago, I had a lot of troubles to set up my bb q10, because in Russia all services are blocked and you can't set up your device. And after that I asked myself, am I going to have troubles with VPN to register my blackberry id and ect. For setting up a blackberry os7 device?

    You need a BlackBerry BIS plan from your carrier to use a BBOS device.

    I just re-installed the OS on mine to be ready for the post-server shutdown era. I don't think you need to connect to a server at all with OS7. Is that incorrect?
