I got the phone about 2 weeks ago off my buddy. Sold it to me for a straight $100 dollars. Yesterday i wake up and check my texts and my sensor wont move at all but all the other buttons work. took the battery out and let it sit for a few hours turned it back on and the sensor worked for about 20 minutes. Just wondering if there is a way to fix it or is it a lost cause...

You could try upgrading your operating system as it could be a software issue. If that doesn't work, it must be a hardware issue. You might be looking at $10-30 replacing the trackpad. You can find replacement ones on this site for DIY's or go to a local repair shop.

Once your OS is wiped off and reloaded, if the trackpad issue is completely solved, it was a software issue. If not, I highly recommend going to a local repair shop.
