When I use universal search to search for multiple entries in calendar, results are missing some of the entries.

Scenario: I have 25 entries in calendar for times that I have met with a client named Bob Johnson. Each meeting was entered separately, at various time and dates, over the past 3 months - no recurring entries.

I search for Bob Johnson and the results show a Calendar icon with the number 23. When I open the icon (Calendar) in deed there are only 23 entries in the results list.

exit Search, enter Calendar and scroll through the Calendar, the 2 missing entries are where they should be and all looks normal.

    - Each entry is spelled exactly the same with no additional spaces or other punctuation that might confuse Universal Search.
    - Some meetings were entered before the update to and some were entered after the update. The missing meetings are from both before and after when no obvious connection to each other.
    - I use BB Desktop to sync with Outlook 2007 and backup to a Dell running Windows 7.

I have the exact same issue, including the search results having a calendar icon with 23 on it. I assumed the 23 was because of todays date.

I'm setting up my new 9900, upgrading from a Torch. I have 9 years of events on the calendar and search is only picking them up in a sort of random access. I'm a doctor and need easy access to find all past appointments on my BB when I do a house call.

I'm on a BES and when I activated the exchange account, only the past 60 days of appointments appeared with future appointments. So far, normal. As I did with my Torch, I then undid wireless calendar sync and did a USB sync with outlook, getting 9 years of events loaded. Then I turned wireless sync back on.

Now, when I do a universal search of a name, I'm only getting some of the calendar events, not all, and they're in random order. Plus no future events come up. The strange thing is, all the events are on the 9900 but are just not showing up in search. And the 23 icon makes no sense.

Anyway, no solution for you, but I share your misery.

I've had this happen several times but it was resolved each time by a battery pull. To me it appeared to use cached results that are cleared by rebooting.
