I have an appointment. I forgot when. Now what?
Scroll through every hour of the next three months?
    Any ideas?

Go to the main Search App on your main screen of Apps. You can search calendar entries (and anything else) with it.

Use the Search App. It can search Messages, Calendar, Contacts, Memopad, Messenger, and Tasks. If it's not on your Home Screen, it may be in Applications or be hidden.

    Ah... great. Missed that.
It would be nice to have a search function in the app itself though...
    Thanks!

The lack of the blackberry calendar search is that it can't find appointment with yearly recurrence. Just try it. Make one appointment then set the recurrence to yearly and try to find it with the search, you wont find it! Now go to calendar, open that appointment and set the recurrence to any other than yearly, then try to search, now you found it!

    Strange...............

It happen on my 9700. Any solution?

I created an appointment called "Test Appt" for 8:00 am tomorrow, with yearly recurrence. Went to the Search function. Searched the Calendar for "test." I found my test appointment plus 5 other non-annual appointments that also included the word "test." Search seems to work properly on my Tour running 4.7.1.61.

The yearly recurrence search works for me. As a matter of fact, my first test search was for a birthday (which is set with a yearly occurrence).

The solution appears to be changing "yearly" to "monthly" with a 12 month schedule. It works for my Tour.

When I do my search, there are a lot of items not being displayed. Is there a limitation on past or future searches?
