The new facebook 1.6 app has some realy neat scrolling. When you move down or side to side on a page, it scrolls just like an iphone or storm. I wish they could implement this scroll into the blackberry os so we could scroll around like that all the time if we wanted too. Makes viewing emails and such much easier. Trackball is cool, but scrolling, even on this site, can be tedius. I know you can use a shortcut to get to the top and bottom of a page, but I like the option of being able to smoothly scroll to the point I want to be at.

In opera mini, which is what I use, there are both buttons to scroll up/down really fast, AND scrolling to the side (left or right) makes you scroll faster as well which is what you are talking about.
Nothing like this for natural, pre-programed things like email
