Does anyone else have a problem viewing the screen out in the sun?

I cant use my phone outside because when I go into the sun it dims to dark. I have played with the back light brightness and even have automatically dimmed not checked. Currently forced to cover the sensor with a small sticker.

I haven't had time to make it to a Sprint store to compare and this is the best place to ask anyway.

    Thanks for any input.

Well thank you for the one reply. I guess this wasn't the best place to come for information. I would have gotten more input probably trash talking BB. I'm going to Sprint tomorrow to figure the problem out. Thanks

So it was in fact a bad phone. The ambient sensor was doing the opposite of what it was designed to do. I even brought a flashlight with me to the store to show them and test the new phone. This also caused my screen to be bright all the time and gave me only 10 hours of battery life if that. Did an exchange and got a new device that seems to be flawless thus far. Hope this helps if anyone else has a similar problem.
