Is there a way of disabling the side button from shouting "Say A Command" everytime i pull my phone out of my pocket in the office.
Phones are frowned upon during office hours so it would be a real bonus to banish the whistle-blower...

Under your options you will see a setting for convenience keys. Remove the mapping; set that convenience key to something else or "none" if you can.

On OS6 it is under Device > Convenience Keys.
