Hi

I recently saved (thought I'd saved) whole text conversations between myself and another party. Once I knew they were 'safe' I deleted the originals out of my sms inbox. I've just gone to reread one of them to find that all the conversations have gone and only the last message has been saved.

Am I right in assuming they've gone for good and I have no way of retrieving them? I hadn't backed my phone up since December!

Did you save each individual message in the "text conversation" individually? It's important to understand that an SMS "conversation" is not really a conversation. The messages are just displayed that way.

If you don't have a backup, then they are likely gone forever.
