Does anyone know if its safe to use files in the formats of .wma and .m4a as ringtones? Or is it best if its in mp3 format?

    Thank you!

I make all my ringtones through itunes. I just chop my songs up and save them in the ringtones folder.

Try Ventones or Phonezoo. Both are free sites that allow you to make ringtones from songs in your music library.
