So, Cloves and Handtec still holding to "Release by 19th"? You'd think with a day to go, there'd be some sort of confirmation that they could get from RIM's wholesalers.
Gum Mobile wrote on FB, that RIM yesterday confirmed that the delivery date is still the 19th, so i could imagine the same is true for handtec and clove. The interessting thing ist, i read on the Facebook-Page from Gum Mobile, that they will have it before the competitors, but now i dont find this comment anymore ... i could imagine, that the competitors had a Problem with this statement.
But i my deepest Dreams i hoped, that RIM will deliver today on the 18th, so the shops can start to sell it verry early on friday morning.
I've only had my Bold since yesterday evening and its now 9am...and wow. I never realised what people meant about how good the keyboard is until I actually used it physically! Combined with the touchscreen...simply wonderful! Hope everyone gets theirs soon!
Phones 4 u called me yesterday to tell me they are expecting the Bold 9900 on todays delivery, this includes contracts and sim free.
I believe they maybe right as this isn't the usual day for deliveries so it could well be just to ship the Bold 9900 in.
My order for mobilephonesdirect.co.uk is still at ready to despatch even though i ordered about 12 yesterday, so much for their next day delivery if you order before 4pm. Maybe the system just hasn't updated.

It doesn't update for some reason, nor do you get a despatch email. Mine just came from there.

No branding!!!
Cheers
I'm in two minds now with what to do.
Pay for sim free at 500.
Pay for the Vodafone contract over 2 years which equals to just over 600 but obviously gives me all the minutes, texts and data as backup to my main contract
I'm currently on o2 so would unlock the phone and still use the o2 as primary contract and if i run out of that one use the Vodafone sim.
Exactly the same here to be honest. My main number is with O2 and I'll probably shove that in the phone. Do I need to get any special BlackBerry bolt ons for it or anything?
I'm very impressed with the phone so far, very very impressed.
I've placed an order with 02 this morning (8am) with next day delivery.
free phone on a 27 PM with 300minutes/500mb and unlimited txts on a 24month contract, dead chuffed with that for a deal tbh!
fingers crossed i get it 2moro
finally after all the hassle my 9900 has finally been dispatched and will be in my grubby mitts tomorrow hopefully, Anybody want to buy an iPhone 4? lol
Guyss! Which is better to buy from, P4U or CPWH? I'm not too sure where to get the phone from? Or it doesn't matter? I mean I found a deal that both would price match too and I think I prefer to do it with a high street store rather than online to save myself from mailing my phone to a destination to get it fixed and what not.

I just sent my iPhone 4 to envirophone, got 300.10 for it.
Yup, O2 are being phoneist..they won't sell it as PAYG. Contract only, so annoying
But they will be selling it soon, they confirmed 449 for the price but they said they can't say when. I think it's gonna be Saturday or Monday
I'm gonna try ringing O2 sales again, the guy I spoke to yesterday seemed sure that I could just buy it Lol in my business we have something call "Treating Customers Fairly", obviously not filtered through to mobile phone companies yet
