Does anyone know where HandTec get their stock from? And if they are branded at all (I know they're unlocked - just don't want a poxy telco brand on the front!)

I am 100% confident they are unbranded completely.
Bought two Blackberries in the past from them. Very good service.
Interesting: up till yesterday, this website was selling Bold 9900's (two in stock) for 2499. Obviously looking for big spenders to buy the device before release date.
Now they've put the price down to a reasonable price still two in stock.
However, down at the bottom of the page it says "may take up to seven days for delivery".

Just spoke to 3 separate Carphone warehouse stores and they all said that it is due for release on 15th August, however, Vodafone has exclusivity for a month so they may not be able to sell it until September.
Just on my way into town to collect my pre-ordered 9900 from Vodafone.
Slightly concerning as i've had no emails to say it had been sent yet (was expecting it next tuesday) it's only because i'm impatient that i phoned and asked and was told it's just been signed for in store - yay!
I've ordered mine from Kick Mobiles and they have promised a shipping date of 16th August. And according to them, their inside sources say that RIM's UK warehouse has infact received the units.
Fyi for everyone on voda - i just unlocked mine - 1.99 off a chap of ebay.
Slight change in unlock instructions from older bb's, if the standard sim card/mepd/mep2 doesnt work (i.e. no popup screen on mep2) then just stick the other non authorised sim card in the phone, turn it on and it will ask you automatically for an mep code.

another quick FYI for people on voda uk, they`ll provide you with an unlock code for FREE because its a contract phone of course most people wont give it to you until your past the 7 days return date for the obvious reason, but they will give unlock codes for a vf purchased contract phone for FREE.
also odds are if you purchase one from CPW then they are normally unlocked as default no matter which network is choosen (but of course ask if this is important).
