I added this item to my price watch list. Got an E-Mail today and realized the Bold has dropped all the way down to $150 with rogers.

Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphone - 3 Year Agreement : Rogers Smartphones - Best Buy Canada
Well that was one **** of a miss step by Rogers pricing it at $249 at first.
Also what the **** is it was a $35 activation fee when you're already with Rogers and you are simply getting a new device and entering into a new 3-year agreement. Now I know why you Canadian's call them Robbers.
Yeah, Rogers had it had $250 to start with, mainly because they have the lowest BB plan for $40 a month, but Bell and Telus had the Bold at $170 (all of these prices are 3 year contracts), however their prices were $50 a month. I guess Rogers just had to price it higher, but now BestBuy is selling it for $150, which is a good deal !
Good price. Is this for new customers only?
I just paid $250 and got a mail in rebate for $50. I'm tempted to return it and get a new one if it got cheaper...

trade it in asap then !
I don't get why rogers was charging so much. Telus was $149 on a three year from the start.
Telus has it at a minimum $50 a month with the 9900, while Rogers had to make it $250 at a minimum of $40 a month. Over 10 months, you will be paying the same amount, but after that 10 months, Rogers would be cheaper (assuming you get the $40 month plan.)
once rogers drops it on they're site ill be calling them, and question who has problems opening their battery door lol its hard!
i called best buy and tried to see if they would give me the 150 price on a 3 year upgrade but it seems it is only on new activations...
yeah i went to best buy yesterday and asked what difference was between the two bolds. one was priced $199 and the other was $170. he also mentioned theyre on new activations, and if you want an upgrade it was cost about roughly the same price as the price tag given right now.
