well after hearing about some of the success stories with rogers plus locations selling the 9900 i decided to drive to my local rogers plus. I asked the guy if they had them he said yes then i said can i buy and he said yes!
mind you he kept asking diff managers if he could and they also said yes, then i can to deal with a pain in the a** girl beside him telling him he couldnt so he then checked again.
anyways well worth the try.
now for the location. its in mississauga at hwy10 and bristol. good luck
I think for me to upgrade it would be $420 so I might as well buy outright and then I can do an upgrade when the QNX phones are out, supposed to be March.......RIGHT, lol
Called and verified a Rogers store had 9900s in stock, they confirmed.
20 minutes later I show up, they sell 2 of them to the guy in front of me and then receive a phone call, I'm next in line and am told they got word they can't sell them. I HAD IT IN MY HANDS AND THEY TOOK IT BACK! *cries*
Called up some contacts within Wireless, they said they're calling stores like crazy telling them not to sell the 9900s until tomorrow at the earliest.

Got mine today from a Rogers Plus early afternoon. Phone is really nice, much nicer than I imagined. Love the finish and it pairs up really nicely next to my iPhone 4.
