Ok, I have looked everywhere on here and can not find an answer.

I downloaded and installed the BBFileScout and it works like a charm for deleting the factory ring tones, songs and such.

But, every time I sync my Bold, all the ring tones, songs and such come back!

I don't want them on the phone not because I think it will save that much memory, but because I don't like to go through the 20 or 30 ring tones to get to the one I want.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used BBFileScout. Another program that I have used is CrackMem. You might try it. It has an exceptionally good help file that lists the files it removes. You are correct that the default ringtones occupy very little memory. Some users reported system problems after deleting them, so CrackMem does not allow you to delete them.
