I signed up for and received my voucher code for a $65 rebate for trading back my 9630, that will expire on 8/14. I sure hope VzW releases the 9930 before that date so I don't miss out.
Anybody else planning on taking advantage of that program? I know $65 isn't much but the used 9630s I see on FleaBay aren't selling for all that much more and it's worth it to me to avoid the eBay process/fees hassle & simply send it back to RIM.

you can always make sure to buy any phone on or before 8/14 then it gives another 30 days for return. Just incase.

You might have jumped the gun a bit... The offer says it's good so long as the new device is purchased before August 27th. With that being said, didn't you have to specify which device you're upgrading to? The 9930 isn't listed yet

That's the point. After you submit for your voucher and envelope and stuff, there is a 30-day window in which the offer is valid. You got excited and applied two weeks ago when you should have waited until August 26th.
Dunno about how excited I'd have classified myself as but fairly well thought-out, yes: I have more than one email address at my disposal. If the offer (associated with my other email address) expires before VzW releases the 9930, I'll simply use another email address.
how come i cant see the 9930 or 9900 for mine? when i get into bb trade up.. is this a guess /speculation only?
I too have a 9630 and 9650 that I'm preparing to "trade up" for my 9930! :)
I'm hoping it gets added once it's officially released.
Can't imagine that they wouldn't want to throw a little bone out there to help these devices get out and into customers' hands.
