My 9650 will suddenly restart by itself. Not often, maybe once every other day. Any ideas?

Have you recently added any new applications or games? Have you pulled your battery lately?

Nope. I try and do a battery pull once a week. I will start doing that more often.

You could plug it into the desktop manager and back up all your info and then reload the operating software. Or see if you have any updates.

I found that when I do a battery pull every other day my phone runs at "peek" performance and doing a pull after a major download (1mb or more). I'm also running the oldest OS6 (Sprint 6.0.0.415) and my 9650 runs extremely well.

Thanks for the info JayDee, I have not tried .524 due to the numerous problems I've read about in these forums. I guess if I had a Verizon phone I would give it a go, but I decided to stay carrier faithful and give up speed for less problems

415 is probably the worst official BB6 out there. 436 from AllTel is the real winner!!!

.415, .436, .524 I'm not sure but I think there is about 2 others with several different opinions.....I guess the bottom line is what works best for each individual and their 9650

You don't have to have a verizon phone to use 524. The OS is not carrier specific, only device specific.

Maybe a loose battery connection? Does it happen when you set it down?

Sometimes the roaming will cause a phone to reboot if it is struggling too hard to find a signal. If you do roam a lot you might try updating your prl.
