Hey guys, so I know how there are different screens (001/111, 004/111, etc.) that are supposed to be for different phones. I'm currently working on replacing screens for the Bold 9700 and 9780

I'm curious if you have to get the right screen for the device, or can I just go with the cheapest one? For example, I have one bold that, when I took it apart and looked at the back of the screen, I found that it was 004/111. However, on another bold I have, I found the screen was 001/111.

So my question is: Can I buy a universal bold 9700/9780 screen or does it have to be specific to the previous screen that is broken?

    Thanks,

    Luke

Hi, you must match the versions.
If you don't you will just get a blank white screen or similar.
