Sounds like a loose conector,go back over your steps and repeat slowly

yeah i did that, at first there was no display and i went back and disconnected and reconnected it and now it's just white.
could it be the wrong lcd? or would that not really matter if it fits?

is it the whole screen or the "LCD" ? i thought they were all the same part

did you specify which one u wanted? eg. 001 etc

yeah, i told him it's 001/004.
the one he sold me just says 001, but he said it would work.
and now he won't return my calls so i'm thinkning at this point to just buy one off a legit website and leave terrible feedback on his ebay account.

yeah well it was actually a local seller.
i came across it and offered to drive about 45 minutes to pick it up so we didn't have to mess with shipping charges.
especially since i had just got it and was looking for the quickest fix.
everywhere online is sooo expensive, the ones who aren't are either out of stock or require you to buy atleast two.
oh well, the bold is worth it.
