I've read the forums on removing an IT Policy from a BB. I have a BB Bold 9930 and got it off Ebay without knowing it would have this policy on it. So far it has restricted me from turning off having to use a password - it's a personal phone, I don't need to use a password every ten minutes. I also am having problems with the time zone changing by itself and constant requests by apps asking for permissions over and over.

I am thinking some or all of this is due to the damn IT Policy. I have read about CrackUtil, but do no know if it is still safe to use. I have already done a complete wipe of my phone and the IT Policy is still there.

Does anyone know another way to remove the IT Policy or is there an updated place where I can still get CrackUtil? This is very annoying.

My 9930 responded fine by resetting the phone; not just wiping it, to factory settings. The IT Policy went away. Thanks to Codiak for the info. I thought a security wipe would have done it, but it wasn't enough.
