When you google "blackberry bold" all the pictures have red numbers. Mine aren't red-- they are white. Is this a back lighting thing, or is it a different version?

Yeah the Rogers version of the Bold has the red number keys. I kinda didn't care about that but once it was mentioned on this forum and I looked at the red number keys, I would rather have it like that.

You can buy the keypad with the red numbers and swap it, if you trust yourself.

Red is better. So are a black bezel and a black out carrier logo. And it really isn't that difficult to do.

Looks nice. I actually prefer the chrome bezel.

I like the red numbers and trust myself to do it, just not sure if I want to bother with the hassle for something so minor...

Chrome bezel, red/white keys & black trackballl, since I have the black silicone case it was a bit pointless to try and get the black bezel back on again.

I too wish that they were red. Hopefully VZW and RIM will get it right with Niagara.

My bold from Optus in Australia came with red numbers too. Do you think it is only at&t that has white ones?
