Really stupid question
First you need to understand I have never owned a cell phone and didn't want a blackberry but my agency decided I was too valuable not to be reachable at all times - so much for privacy. The BLACKBERRY BOLD 900 Getting Started Guide is the only documentation I received with the phone. It was set up by our IT people so I didn't have to deal with that. I can place calls with no problem (the guide covers that) I just can't answer calls. Everytime it rings, no matter what I do, I wind up disconnecting then I have to call the person back. I'm sure I'm doing something incredibly stupid.

Could be an OS problem or something your IT guys did. Let them deal with it cuz this is not something that you are doing. The phone rings you hit the green button and it should work. Do a battery pull just in case.

When you receive a call, press the green talk button to answer.
