Re: The "hacking" of service books from AT&T to Tmob-could this work for UK operator?
- Hi all, I've been doing a bit of reading re: the service books for AT&T:
Basically, I work fora UK operator, who in their infinite wisdom havent provisioned their staff phones properly for BIS...
So I have a domestic contract (with Bold) and I (and a few friends) have various other berrys with our operators staff SIM in, with provisioning enough to use the web browser, but only as a wap browser. As a result, app world (for example) won't work, and you can only set it to WAP browser, or Hotspot browser , nothing inbetween...
So...is this process possible, and do I have the steps right?
1)Go into my domestic contract (with the correct provisioning) using crackutil, and download the browser daemon? Or do I extract the service books some other way?
2) follow similar insturctions as per tmob thread, except, replace service books with those that I have extracted from my domestic contract.
Is this likely to work? How do I extract service books from my bold?06-14-09 04:45 PMLike 0
