I would like to upgrade my OS, however I have a quick question:
If I do update, will I have to re-install all my apps??
And if so, how can I re-install apps (like Shazam) that I have already paid for??

Depends on how upgrade. If you use DM, no, but you might have to enter a liscense key or accept the user agreement again.

That is usually automatically done as part of the upgrade process. The only thing I have to do in the past is re-enter activation codes. A back up prior is recommended.

It backs it up automatically when using AppLoader or DM, but definitely back them up separately just incase
