How many CBC articles can you open at once without running out of memory? And how often do you get out of memory errors when browsing the internet?
that's my primary iff with my 9100, aside from SureType wearing a bit.
An to be honest, I'm not too interested in the new devices that much, not with their price points.

Not sure if this will fully answer your question. I have a 9780 and have never had an issue with memory. I've never checked to see how many articles I could open at once though. I really love my 9780 and think its a solid device.
Might consider upgrading your os to .600 if your getting memory errors.

But you CAN open multiple CBC articles on the 9780? My Pearl's browser always crashed when I had two tabs with cbc articles. any other site is usually fine.
I can open a lot of pages... as long as they are the mobile versions of the site. Trying to load full pages usually crashes the browser on the 11th tab or so.
You certainly CAN open multiple CBC sites on the 9780 :)

For what's it worth, I find it a little cumbersome to move between tabs on the 9780. If you're going to do a lot of tab browsing , maybe consider a touch device, such as the Torch. If price is an issue, you could go with the first Torch running OS 6 instead of waiting for the newer Torch line.
To be honest I'm thinking I should keep my eye on the new curve. Faster, more ram, BB7, NFC, wifi hotspot; now just to see how much it costs.

On Bell, both the 8530 and the 9300 launched at $50 on a three year contract. I'm not sure about the 8930 or 8330 (was there ever a 8930?), but I think the trend is indicating $50 for the new curve. I'm just glad that this one is not intentionally crippled with a ****ty camera.
