    Post my purchase of a Z10, I keep my old BlackBerry 9700 still charged and powered on. However, I keep the mobile network, Wifi and bluetooth switched off. (still play some games that have not yet been ported to BlackBerry 10).

    Question is I still keep getting BlackBerry World update messages on the phone. I wonder how is it possible. Can anyone throw some light on it?

    Yes and there is no SIM card as well!
