Not a huge deal, but I guess I can no longer use Q as one of my Speed Dial options? It's set to "Change Profile to Normal/Vibrate" and it doesn't look like I can change it.

Not true you can manipulate the speed dial characteristics of any letter you just can't hold down that key to manipulate it. Hold down a key that doesn't have a speed dial attached to it. Or you can go into options>phone options> speed dial #'s and manipulate from there... Select a name (you can delete this selection later) after you select it should show you all of your speed dial selections go to Q,A, or W and hit the enter key you can then select whomever you would like to be speed dial for that key. It does reset after every battery pull though. Hope this helps...
