problems when booting (error msgs)

it says

Uncaught Exception: net.rim.device.api.system.UnsupportedOperationExce ption

java.lang.NullPointerException

java.lang.Error

ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x7491f7b6ae8681a)time out

any ideas when i can do to fix it, usually another reboot or 2 makes it go away but its annoying have to reboot 2-3-4 times....

Sounds like a wipe and reinstall of your OS is in order.

Best you wipe the device and reinstall the OS. Saves you from further future hassles.

I have a lot of apps installed and customizations, whats the best method for backing up any data and reformatting?

it should be too late to backup when your phone when your phone is dead.

Desktop Manager includes a good backup routine for data.
