I have a Blackberry 9700 and an Epson R300 printer. The printer works fine, but when I connect my Blackberry to synchronise etc. via a USB the printer won't work (I get a communication error). I have tried stripping back the number of USB devises one by one and its the Blackberry that's the cause.
OK - not big deal, I can print what I need to then connect the BB and disconnect and reboot when I want to print but its a bit of a carry on.
Six months ago, when we first bought the printer and the laptop after the trouble I have to restart, but it took a long time to resolve the HP technical support. At this meeting, from my notes, I noticed that Norton has from the outset Services.msc to disable the Run menu. Then install the printer. I had to disable the symbol. It is well known but it fixed my problem.
