Is there any kind of prepaid/pay as you go plans for the blackberry bold?

preferably something from tmobile or att?

I was thinking of using a sidekick prepaid. Anyone think that would work?

For T-Mobile, get a "Flex-Pay plan". Tell them you want a data only plan: ($30/month for unlimited data, $35/month for unlimited data and text, pic, IMs).
You can get the Sidekick pre-paid.

you can use gophone prepaid with your bold on at&t but you won't be able to get blackberry internet service, push email, some 3rd party apps that go thru BB's servers and you can't use bbm.

You can go the "gophone" way but to be honest to spend the money your going to spend to get your hands on a Bold to then not have any BB Data service working on the phone would really be a waste.

Carriers need to have flex plans.

But at the same time, why get a BB if you can't use it to its potential? Might as well just get a ****** phone and stay on prepaid.
