    Is it possible to not have the panel collapse into one row? Or do I just need a different theme? I'm tired of opening it up all the time.

    I'm looking for something that just gives me three rows of five icons open all the time (I've already disabled the other panels except the "All"), and would prefer as close to stock as possible.

    I think you're going to have to go with a theme for what you're looking for. There are many out there...have a look on BBW
