So recently my wife has started receiving a pop-up notification that says the following:

You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted.

    There are then four options:

    1) Continue
    2) Close connection
    3) View certificate
    4) Trust certificate

I have viewed the certificate, at the top is a red cross and next to it is: rcp.eu.blackberry.com

    Revocation Status: Unknown

WOW, so I apologise for the long ramble, but just wanted to make sure everything is there.

From what I can see it is from RIM and therefore presume I can trust it. However it has never appeared before.

My wife says that it has started since she installed the BBM update.

    Thanks guys.

It's likely an expired certificate. Select Trust Certificate and it should go away. I get the same thing with certain websites.
