Do you have an active BlackBerry Data Plan Service (BIS)?
Are your other data features (email, BlackBerry Browser, BBM, etc.) working properly?

If you don't have a bb tariff activated on your sim, this could be the reason why your mms isn't working, if you haven't you will need to sign up with one of their tariffs, also are you using a pay and go sim?

With my previous phones a data plan to send/ receive an mms was'nt nesessary.
What worked for me on my blackberry was to check my mobile settings. Data should be ON. Even when you don't have a data plan.
With no data plan, turn the 'data when roaming'. off.
but you probably tried this already?

How did you get wifi calling to work? Does not show up for me as an option at all. Are you on T-mobile US?

Does ANYONE having this issue have a BLACKBERRY (BIS) data plan? \

Do you see the little blackberry logo up in the top right corner where it says 3G / 2G etc...

If you don't have a BlackBerry data plan, you won't get MMS... period

If you have a BlackBerry data plan but your carrier doesn't support the 9790, you may not have the correct service books so you still won't get MMS... same with wifi calling

You are awesome! OMG! I have a 9900 and was just about to toss this stinking phone into the trash! My old 9700 was awesome and I never had any problems using UMA calling, which I have been told by Tmobile is slightly different than wifi calling. I was almost going to buy a used 9700 on ebay so I could get the UMA calling again! Anyhoo, I got the 9900 in nov 2012 (5 months ago), and have never been able to send or receive MMS messages when on wifi calling. I live in the mountains so the only way I can get tmobile service from home is on wifi calling. I do have Blackberry services, so SMS, calls, emails are no problem from home on wifi calling. However, sending MMS from home on wifi calling I have never been able to do with this phone. Until now, I have had to drive down the road to send or receive texted photos (MMS messages). i have been on the phone with T-mobile and Blackberry customer service for at least 8 hours since Nov 2012, and no one can ever help me. The other day I tried one last time with t-mobile and they said they would have a specialist call me with 72 hours, that they would come out here to test things. I can't wait to hear what their solution is when they call me back...I'll bet they still don't recommend that I turn the data service when roaming off. You have no idea how grateful i am! Thanks a million!

Try what strikkie recommends below...turn the "data when roaming" off. It worked for me, and I have t-mobile USA wifi calling also.
